About the lecture

The voice-work immersion journeys I offer combine vocal and somatic exploration with traditional ritualistic practices. It is a trauma-informed space
for developing fluent communication between our physical, emotional and mental bodies, providing participants with tools to harmonize and balance their inner and outer worlds through sound and vibration. La Voz Latente (The Latent Voice) brings us in a journey guided by the wisdom of the 5 elements and their expression in our beings. Through vocal exercises, we cultivate our inner sound deepening the connection to our bodies and emotions and opening a clear channel for the expression of our true and authentic selves. Embracing our wounds and trauma,we alchemize old blockages and stuck emotions and reprogram old patterns. It’s portuny to experience the healing power our own voice

About the speaker:

Ima Nazca is a medicine music project led by Claudia Contreras, an artist whose journey bridges continents and cultures. Born in Spain and
nourished from childhood by the vibrant Argentinian folklore of her father and grandfather—both musicians—Claudia’s creative path has always been
deeply linked to ancestrality and ritual expression. After a decade of nomadic explorations across Europe and Asia, in 2019 she settled in Mexico, a country whose rich ceremonial traditions inspired her to weave her music into spaces of prayer and collective healing. From her home in the mountains of Tepoztlán, she developed her solo project in 2022, focusing on reviving ancestral sounds into contemporary melodies that inspire and awaken the listener into a transformative journey. Her performances—rooted in spiritual connection and the wisdom of nature—have echoed throughout festivals and venues in Mexico, South America (Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia), and across Europe (Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, and Lithuania), inviting audiences into deep, transformative musical experiences.
