Topic: Transpersonalne pojednanie z cieniem

Language:

About the lecture:

If you want to understand yourself better—not only what is conscious and “acceptable,” but also what is repressed, difficult, and uncomfortable—this lecture is for you. From a transpersonal perspective, we will look at the psyche more broadly than classical psychology does: as a phenomenon embedded in social, cultural, and existential relationships, and not just “within the individual.”

You will learn what the transpersonal approach really is, where it comes from, and what role Abraham Maslow played in its creation. You will also see why this trend is sometimes closer to sociology than psychology and how this changes the way we think about our relationship with ourselves.

We will pay special attention to the shadow, i.e., the part of your personality that you repress because it does not fit into social norms or your self-image. Using examples of repressed male and female identities, we will show what happens when the shadow is not integrated and what consequences this has for relationships, emotions, and life choices.

If you want to learn to recognize your shadow, regain control over it, and stop running away from your own “dark side,” this lecture can be an important step toward a more conscious and integral relationship with yourself.
