Paulina Święcańska

Topic: Ruch autentyczny – czuła droga do siebie

Language:

About the Workshop:

Authentic Movement is an individual practice usually performed with closed eyes in the presence of a “witness/observer.” The focus is on connecting with your inner self. Movement arises spontaneously from internal impulses, creating gestures, poses, and pauses. The observer witnesses without judgment, enhancing both their own and the mover’s self-awareness.

This practice deepens reflection on mood, emotions, perception, and well-being, integrating body and mind. It supports creativity, imagination, and meditation, unlocking artistic expression and fostering new ideas. Authentic Movement can also complement psychotherapy and self-exploration. It is accessible to everyone, regardless of prior physical experience.

At the festival, Paulina Święcańska will lead two sessions in separate groups for women and men, allowing participants to explore their movement comfortably on the first day. On the second day, groups will merge to share experiences through active practice, including post-session reflections with a partner in the movement.

Selected moments of the sessions will be accompanied by live music, featuring crystal harp, ocean drum, and Tibetan singing bowls.
