Topic: On the Waves of the Mind - How to Read Your Brain and Live More Wisely

Language:

About the Lecture:

This lecture takes participants on a journey into the world of brain waves – the subtle rhythms that accompany our emotions, thoughts, and states of consciousness every day. Using a modern EEG device, participants will witness live demonstrations of brain activity in various states: from tension and focus to deep relaxation.

Blending neuroscience, mindfulness, and hands-on experience, the lecture explores how brain waves (theta, alpha, beta, gamma) function, what they reveal about our mental state, and how we can consciously influence their patterns. It also introduces the concept of neuroplasticity – the brain’s ability to change and adapt – and presents practical everyday techniques to support nervous system regulation and enhance mental well-being.

Participants will engage in a collective relaxation exercise, learn the basics of biofeedback, and gain tools to better understand themselves through observation and regulation of their own neural activity.

This is an invitation to reflect, play, and truly connect with your own mind – in the rhythm of brainwaves, breath, and mindfulness.
