About the Workshop:
During the lecture, we will get to know our senses more closely—and even very closely.
Touch – Sight – Hearing – Smell – Taste – Intuition We’ll become aware of how wonderful it is to consciously experience our senses, to appreciate them in a way that makes life fuller and more vibrant. How can we enhance the power of our senses? Can they be trained? Color – its magic and power in life and interior design Horticultural therapy and forest therapy – and their impact on life and health Conversations with plants Calming – Heightened sensitivity – Unblocking – Healing the soul, body, and mind – Rest – Pleasure – Happiness – Energy – Well-being
The meeting will consist of two parts:
Part one – a lecture Part two – a workshop: Creating sensual, decorative and functional objects – led by Aga and Tomek
About facilitators:
Aga and Parysek – we are a couple in life and in work. We travel, create, and implement new ideas together. We used to live very intensively and quickly. Last spring, we left the city and moved to a wooden house in the forest in Warmia, where we established the forest headquarters of our Warsaw Academy of Free Time. There, we organize artistic workshops accompanied by bird songs and the rustling of trees. We only occasionally work in the city for corporate clients. Always in an eco, zero-waste, horticultural therapy, or design thinking spirit.
We appreciate each new day, take action, and our garden is taking shape in the clearing, under the crowns of pine and birch trees. We swim in our beloved lakes, meet friends, live slowly, in harmony with the seasons, sunrises, and sunsets. We savor life. We continue to develop Garden Thing, a brand inspired by nature and gardens.
Parysek fondly about Aga: A sensitive and restless soul. Loves the forest, mountains, and the sea. Landscape architect, gardener, interior designer, illustrator, aromatherapist. Owner of the design studio Academy of Interiors and Gardens – wnetrzaplusogrody.pl She has created many spectacular gardens and interiors. She loves to create and lead both intimate and large workshops and lectures. Her passions include photography, designing functional objects, furniture, and decorative elements, custom wallpapers, and illusionistic painting. She hugs trees and fights for each one when it is about to be cut down. She talks to animals and loves to share good energy with the world. She is lucky to meet amazing people with whom she collaborates and who inspire her to take on new projects and develop her passions.
Aga fondly about Parysek: A sensitive and calm soul. By passion and profession, a guitarist and composer. He has recorded several albums with friends, including with the bands Minimum Masy and Niemili. He runs, climbs, and cooks deliciously. He loves beautiful sounds and discovers unique music and exceptional places on every journey. All animals love him. He is the coordinator and organizer of all artistic events at the Academy of Free Time, particularly large and small stage designs with the finest details. A good father of Garden Thing. He passionately leads artistic workshops for both adults and children. He supervises and coordinates the flawless execution of my garden projects.
