Wild edible plants

A workshop in the form of a herbal walk, during which we will find, recognize and discuss the plants that we can collect in the immediate vicinity to be able to prepare tasty meals from them. We will discuss the habitats of occurrence, the characteristics of plants, the features that distinguish them from other similar or poisonous species. There will be no shortage of historical curiosities and those concerning the ways of use. We will tell you what dishes can be prepared from them and how. We will collect selected plants together during the walk and prepare a dish for refreshments at the end of the workshop. Together we will discover the richness of flavors of plants growing under our feet, a wide range of their culinary uses.

Why is it worth eating them? Wild plants grow where they have the best conditions, where they can draw all the nutrients they need from the ground. Thus, they become for us an excellent source of microelements and substances often unavailable in market food. By consuming them, we take care of health prevention, the degree of nutrition of food and build a stronger bond with the surrounding nature. In addition, wild plants are widely available for free, they enrich our menu and teach seasonal nutrition.

During the walk, each participant will have the opportunity to experience, touch, smell, taste plants and take them on their own. He will learn what they look like, how to distinguish them and how to use them in the kitchen. The workshop is an opportunity to overcome the resistance to eating uncultivated food, gain confidence in its harvest, learn how to prepare several dishes or expand your knowledge with new information and recipes.
