Playfight: Movement, Fun, Connection 🌀

The festival program features two Playfight workshops that complement each other. It’s best to attend both to fully experience this practice, but each one on its own will also be a valuable experience. If you want to choose just one, opt for “Playfight: Connection in Movement – Introduction to the Method.”

Playfight is a space where intuition meets exploration, and play blends with emotional depth. It’s not just physical push-and-pull or simple competition—it’s an authentic, spontaneous, and transformative meeting with yourself and another person.

What’s it all about?

In Playfight, we draw inspiration from primal, ancient forms of contact that predate any organized movement practices. In this safe and accepting space, you can explore your strength and softness, and examine boundaries in relation to another being.

This form of movement exploration is similar to contact improvisation—spontaneous, free-flowing movement—yet with an added element of competition, a playful spirit, and primal dynamics, where we focus a bit more on saying “no” than “yes.”

Playfight is not just about movement. It’s also:

🌀 Intuitive Exploration – Instead of repeating set patterns, you listen to the connection between two bodies and let it guide you. You open yourself to new ways of moving—surprising yet authentically your own.

🔥 Emotional Regulation – Working with the body and movement gives you a deeper sense of self. You come into contact with emotions—joy, frustration, excitement—and movement helps you understand and express them.

🎭 Improvisation and Creativity – Nothing is preset. Everything flows, changes, and evolves depending on how you and your partner respond in Playfight. It’s an exercise in creativity in both movement and relationships.

🛑 Boundaries and Relationships – Every Playfight encounter is an exploration of boundaries—yours and another’s. You learn to express, recognize, and respect them, while also opening up to new ways of connecting. It’s a space for play but also for growth in a safe environment.

More than just movement – it’s a way of life.

You’ll leave the room with a stronger sense of self and readiness for more conscious, authentic interactions with others.

About the Facilitator:

Officially a personal trainer and neurotherapist. He helps people improve through manual techniques, breathwork, movement, and neurotherapy.

In addition to individual sessions, he leads lectures and workshops on holistic training, nervous system regulation techniques, biomechanics, playfight, and other practices that support human wellbeing.

Creator of the platform Moje Sprawne Ciało (My Fit Body).

A passionate advocate of living in harmony with oneself—believing that happiness and ease begin with releasing limiting beliefs and fully embracing who we are.

In his free time, Maciej enjoys simple pleasures in life, grounding himself in nature, and sometimes takes to the skies, balancing on a slackline high above the ground.
