About the workshop:
Tai Chi – discover a short form of movement that harmonises and calms
Here, the short form of Tai Chi will serve as a gateway to mindful movement. Step by step, you will enter a sequence that helps to relax the body, calm the mind and restore your natural rhythm. It is a practice in which the simplicity of movement creates space for greater harmony, lightness and a sense of truly being in the here and now.
The night-time Tai Chi ritual of ‘1000’ repetitions – when movement becomes meditation
In the evening light, to the rhythm of repeated techniques, Tai Chi will reveal its more inner aspect. Movement will gradually cease to be something performed, and will begin to lead towards silence, focus and deep presence. This is a night-time practice for those who wish to immerse themselves in repetition until the body, breath and attention find a shared, meditative pulse – and, through direct experience, touch the essence of Tai Chi as an art of harmony between movement, energy and consciousness.
The workshop will be led jointly by Marcin and Marta Pociejewska.
