About workshops:

Morning Tai Chi Practice

Every morning, we invite you to join us for a collective Tai Chi practice – a calm, mindful movement that awakens the body, quiets the mind, and organizes energy for the rest of the day. This is an open session for everyone – regardless of experience.

If you feel like you want more, I invite you to the “Tai Chi Body” workshop, where we will work deeper: on structure, sensation, and the quality of movement based on unique methods of working with the body in Tai Chi.

Tai Chi Body: Between Movement and Stillness – Yin and Yang Practice in the Body

Tai Chi is the art of harmonizing opposites – movement and stillness, softness and strength, surrender and stability.

In this workshop, you will experience how the principles of Yin and Yang manifest in the body through weight shifts, internal tensions and releases, as well as subtle work in relation to a partner.

This is a practice of feeling, not mimicking – where silence is as important as action, and every gesture becomes a conscious choice.

Tai Chi Body: From Inside to Outside – Structure, Flow, and Movement Expression

In Tai Chi, the body is like a silk thread – tense, but elastic, fluid, yet anchored in structure.

During this workshop, we will work on the spiral flow of energy, known as “developing the silk” (chan si jin), which connects the interior with external movement.

You will deepen your sense of connection in the body – from your feet to your hands – and learn how internal organization affects lightness, stability, and expression.

This practice builds strength without tension and leads to movement that flows, rather than being performed.
