The workshop will focus on the collaborative painting of a triptych titled “Transience.” Each panel will represent the past, present, and future. The canvases will be approximately 140 x 170 cm in size. Participants will create a shared expression across the three areas of the canvas — an attempt to unify their individual experiences, emotions, and artistic sensibilities into one cohesive work.
The final piece will be the result of a painting experiment that embraces the diversity of creative temperaments. In the differences that seemingly divide us, we will seek unity and strength, expressed through the language of art. The essence of this process lies in recognizing not only oneself and the other but also the very act and direction of creation. And beyond that, it promises to be a joyful and inspiring time together.

In his painting, Marek Zając explores forms inspired by architecture. The traces left by humans in the broader context of civilization become the starting point for his artistic reflection. His work is a search for the energy embedded in these marks. Ordinary places, through his paintings, become the setting for the most profound journey one can take — a journey inward.
