Cacao Dance – the practice of conscious dance, enhanced with hot ceremonial cocoa, performance in the form of a DJ set mixing the rhythms and cultures of the world.
Polarny brings a basket full of musical flavors from the tropics – Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa. It will present a two-hour DJ set in the form of Cacao Dance, a practice of conscious dance, during which hot cocoa (nearly 2,000 drinks will be given away) will raise the vibrations of the heart and supply the body with streams of vitamins. Dance is a form of emotional purification, while cocoa brings unity and provokes a feeling of love – for others and for ourselves. Polarny uses many years of DJing experience with such practices as 5Rytmów, Ecstatic Dance, Sensorama, Daybreaker in several countries around the world. He is inspired by shamanic ceremonies, Afro-Latino rhythms and Indian songs. Starting from a meditative state, he gradually raises the energy to sweep the crowd into ecstasy, cutting through it with colored beams, returning to Earth shortly thereafter. A multi-genre mix, where cultures mix, the rhythm beats with a diverse pulse, electronics combines with folklore, and joy plays with melancholy. Are you ready for a journey to the stars and inside yourself?
