The work of Summana’s band is a resultant of original compositions and traditional songs from different parts of the world. It mixes African rhythms, Slavic chants and Gypsy melodies.
The band creates 6 different musical personalities that have combined passion, willingness to break patterns and, above all, incredible energy that is triggered when the band plays live. They call their music “stray”.
Summana was founded in 2018 in Warsaw and has already had a number of concerts in Warsaw and its vicinity, and participated in the finals of Mikołajków Folkowe 2018 in Lublin. Currently, the band is working on their debut mini album as well as preparing to actively perform after summer festivals all over Poland.
