About the workshop “Tao Movement”:

The workshop will bring you closer to what you can draw from East Asian methods such as tai chi and qigong for your own movement practice.

We will deal with the inner “tiger” and “dragon”

“Taming the tiger” means gaining more control over the body and emotional states. It is the connection of your heart with the energy of the earth. It builds stability, power, flexibility, agency and creative power.

“Riding the dragon” is centering, focusing and directing the intentions of the mind. It is the connection of your heart with the energy of heaven. It builds body awareness, diligence, continuity, expression and the ability to work with energy.

“Crouching Tiger and Tamed Dragon” is a state of meditation in motion. Connecting and harmonizing your heart with the energy of heaven and earth. Their integration, dynamic balance and unity.
