The Afronauts landed in Krakow in January 2019, shocking the concert going audience of the city, who were not prepared for such an energetic band taking the stage. The bands mission is to spread good vibrations and to dissolve the barrier between audience and performers, uniting everyone present in music and dance. The repertoire of the band consists of classic afrobeat tunes and originals written in the same style. The Afronauts combine what is best in afrobeat, funk and jazz. The band has been received with great enthusiasm playing at the 2019 Wianki Festival in Krakow and supporting the legendary Malian band Tinariwen.
