    How do psychoactive substances work? What is ayahuasca, peyote, or amanita, and how do they affect our minds? Do entheogens take us to other dimensions, to the world of spirits, or are they merely hallucinations caused by chemical imbalances in the brain?

    During this panel, we will explore these questions. We will seek the truth and try to determine whether modern neuropsychology strips ancient psychedelic substances of their magic or, on the contrary, confirms it.

    We will present the latest research findings using EEG and functional MRI. We will also discuss experiences and fascinating cases reported by psychiatrists, neurobiologists, and shamans.

    About the Speaker:

    Tomasz Kwieciński – A therapist specializing in the therapeutic application of altered states of consciousness. He has completed the Grof Transpersonal Training and transgenerational therapy school. He is currently undergoing a four-year training in third-wave behavioral psychotherapies and is in the final phase of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy training.

    Co-founder of the HoloMind Institute for Psychedelic Therapy and founder of Holotropic Poland, a project focused on holotropic breathwork. He also works at the KeyClinic.pl Center for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, where he supports patients during psychedelic sessions and helps them integrate their experiences. Within HoloMind, he supervises specialists working in psychedelic integration.

    Author of the book “Follow the Call: Therapeutic Experiences in Expanded States of Consciousness” and the ebook “Introduction to Psychedelic Therapy.”
